CHARLY BOY SAYS PETER OBI PAID HIM SURPRISE VISIT WITH ‘GHANA MUST GO’ BAG

Renowned performer, Charles Oputa, widely recognized as Charly Boy, has recounted how former presidential aspirant of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, astonished him with a ‘Ghana Must Go’ bag.
In a post on his X account, the socio-political advocate shared that at approximately 1 a.m., he received a call from Obi, informing him that he intended to pay a courtesy visit around 5 a.m.

The artist mentioned that, despite his busy schedule, he consented, and the former governor arrived at his residence with the Ghana Must Go bag filled with various fruits.
In Pidgin English, Charly Boy expressed, “As I descended the stairs to greet him, I noticed a large Ghana Must Go bag by the entrance of my living room. I looked at the bag, pondering what could possibly be inside.
“We sat down and discussed Nigeria, politics, family, and more for nearly two hours.
“Then, Obi stated, ‘See this small thing I brought for you.’ I replied, ‘Thank you, sir,’ without even opening it.
“As Obi departed, I decided to take a peek inside the bag. My friends, you would never believe what was inside.
“Inside the bag were three bottles of roasted groundnuts, numerous alligator peppers, kola nuts, papayas, oranges, agara, mangoes, bananas, and more, which Obi had packed himself.
“I simply cannot recall when I fell to the ground laughing.
“When I called to express my gratitude, he said, ‘Senior, I cannot give you money, but I can give you this; I picked it myself. ’ What kind of native intelligence surpasses this? ”
Charly Boy, a dedicated supporter of Peter Obi and an active member of the Obidient movement, had passionately campaigned for the Labour Party during the 2023 presidential election.
