SOLUDO VOTES IN ANAMBRA GOVERNORSHIP ELECTION, URGES RESIDENTS TO PARTICIPATE

Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State cast his vote on Saturday in the ongoing governorship election, arriving at Polling Unit 002, Umuezeadigo Street, in his hometown of Isuofia, Aguata Local Government Area, at exactly 1:13 pm.

The incumbent, seeking re-election under the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), called on residents across the state to turn out in large numbers and exercise their civic rights, describing the governorship poll as a critical opportunity to shape Anambra’s future.

Earlier, Soludo characterized his re-election bid as both a divine project and a people-driven movement, emphasizing that it reflects the collective will of Ndi Anambra for continuity and sustainable development.

Reports indicate that 16 candidates from as many political parties are vying for the governorship in this year’s election.
