The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has deployed 2,050 corps members to Bauchi State for the 2026 Batch ‘A’ Stream 1 orientation exercise.
The Bauchi State NYSC Coordinator, Mr. Kufre Umoren, announced this on Tuesday in Bauchi.
He stated that registration would take place from January 21 to January 23 at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Wailo, in Ganjuwa Local Government Area. The swearing-in ceremony is scheduled for January 23, with the orientation exercise set to conclude on February 10.
Umoren explained that corps members would only be admitted into the camp after verification of their status as genuine graduates. A discreet screening process will also be conducted to prevent intrusion or impersonation.
“Registration dates have been communicated to all corps members, and they are expected to strictly adhere to all camp rules and regulations. Defaulters will face sanctions in line with the scheme’s extant rules,” he said.
