Al-Ittihad have confirmed the termination of N’Golo Kante’s contract with the club.
The midfielder is set to join Fenerbahce after receiving FIFA’s approval for the transfer, following an initial administrative hiccup.
Kante is expected to sign a deal with the Turkish side that will keep him at the club until 2028.
In a brief statement on social media, Al-Ittihad announced the departure, saying: “The club agrees to sell the remaining period of N’Golo Kanté’s contract.”
The announcement finally ends 48 hours of uncertainty surrounding the player’s future.
