Popular socialite and entrepreneur, Pascal Okechukwu, widely known as Cubana Chief Priest, has been appointed as the Imo State Director of the City Boy Movement (CBM), a youth-driven political support group backing President Bola Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid.

The appointment was announced via the official Instagram page of the City Boy Movement.

In a statement accompanying the announcement, the movement said Cubana Chief Priest brings “experience, influence, and a people-centred approach to mobilising support” for President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

“City Boy Movement appoints Pascal C. Okechukwu (Cubana Chief Priest), who stands as a symbol of dedication, strategic leadership, and unwavering commitment to the growth of the City Boy Movement,” the post read.

According to the group, Chief Priest’s new role will focus on grassroots mobilisation, strengthening party structures, and advancing the objectives of the Renewed Hope Agenda at the state level.

The movement expressed confidence that his leadership would enhance political engagement among youths in Imo State, stressing that the state remains positioned for inclusive development, effective leadership, and sustained political participation.

“With a clear vision for progress and unity, Imo State remains firmly positioned for inclusive development, effective leadership, and sustained political engagement. Together, we move forward stronger, focused, and united,” the statement added.

The City Boy Movement is one of several support groups mobilising ahead of the 2027 general elections in support of President Tinubu.
