President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated Mr. Abdulrazaq Isa, co-founder and chairman of Waltersmith Petroman Oil Limited, on the occasion of his 65th birthday, describing him as an outstanding business leader whose career reflects Nigeria’s vast enterprise potential.
In a statement issued on Saturday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Mr. Bayo Onanuga, the President noted that Isa has built a distinguished reputation over more than three decades as a banker and entrepreneur, culminating in his leadership of one of Nigeria’s most successful indigenous oil and gas companies.
President Tinubu said Isa’s achievement in transforming Waltersmith Petroman into a globally recognised brand in the oil and gas sector underscores the strength, resilience and innovation of Nigerian entrepreneurship.
“The efforts of entrepreneurs like the chairman of Waltersmith Petroman affirm Nigeria as a fertile place for investments and reinforce faith in the nation’s business environment,” the President said.
He commended Isa’s resilience and renowned business acumen, acknowledging his significant contributions to the growth of Nigeria’s oil and gas industry, particularly at a time when the sector remains critical to national revenue generation and energy security.
The President also highlighted Isa’s philanthropic efforts, especially his support for science education, urging him to continue serving as a source of inspiration to young Nigerians and emerging business leaders.
As Isa marks the milestone birthday, President Tinubu joined his family, friends and associates in wishing him good health, longevity and continued success in his personal and professional pursuits.
