Nigeria’s women basketball team D’Tigress has set a new world record at the ongoing FIBA Women’s World Cup after beating Argentina 75-70 in their last group game of 2018 FIBA Women Basketball World Cup, played on Tuesday, September 25.
This victory for D’Tigress has enhanced their chances of a quarterfinal showdown while Argentina needed to win big against Nigeria after two consecutive losses to Turkey and Australia.
