JUST IN: NASS WORKERS RESUME STRIKE; SHUT DOWN POWER
Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria members have stormed the entrances to the National Assembly Complex in the early hours of Monday to barricade the gates and prevent entry as they began their four-day warning strike.
Report says the National Assembly workers have now shut down power and water supplies to the complex.
The blockage of all entrances to the building has forced banks, restaurants and other businesses around the area to close shops.
Petty traders are now making brisk business, especially those selling water and snacks.
More security operatives have been deploy to manage the protesters.
