Upcoming artiste and writer known as Chief Ogbonnaya took to social media to drag down popular Nigerian rapper, Naira Marley for allegedly ‘stealing’ his intellectual property, a dance step called “sobi”.
According to Chief Ogbonnaya, he had uploaded a video of the dance steps while Naira Marley was still in prison with the hashtags, #freenairamarley and #marlians with the hope that he would help promote it with his brand.
Ogbonnaya revealed that instead for Naira Marley to do the aforementioned, he re-branded the idea, changed the original name from #flopflop to #sobi and claimed it as his idea.
