SOWORE BANNED FROM SPEAKING AT UNILAG EVENT
Human Right activist and presidential candidate in the last general election, Omoyele Sowore has been banned from speaking at an event organised by the Muslim Students Society of Nigeria, MSSN, UNILAG branch.
This may not be far from a conflict of interest between the school management and the pro-democracy activist following his planned “Revolution Now” protest slated to hold on the 5th of August.
The Muslim Students Society of Nigeria, UNILAG branch, had earlier invited Sowore as a guest speaker for an academic counseling seminar set to hold on July 3, 2019, at the J.F Ade Ajayi Auditorium.
He was, however, barred abruptly from speaking by the group on July 31, 2019, in a “regrettable correspondence”.
