Osun 2018 Budget Passed

The Osun state house of Assembly has passed the 2018 Approriation bill of one hundred and seventy nine billion naira into law.
The bill was passed after scaling through the several scrutinies, considerations and the third reading at hallow chamber of the house.
Correspondent Abass Okandeji reports that the speaker of the house of Assembly Najeem salam said the budget when fully implemented, will accelerate human and infrastructural development in the state.
Salam said, the delay in the passage was to ensure that the budget is practicable and address all sectors of the state.
The Chairman, House Committee on Information and Strategy, Hon. Tunbosun Oyintiloye who expressed satisfaction on the budget, gave assurance that the house will work towards budget performance.
While Hon. Olatunde Olatunji representing ife north state constituency believes, the budget is development driven and purposely for good governance, which will cater for those in urban and rural areas.
