Etebo aims to give back to society as he distributes books to schools in Warri

Nigeria midfielder Oghenekaro Etebo has embarked on a mission to
better the lives of school boys and girls by distributing writing
materials to selected schools, reports allnigeriasoccer.com
The former Warri Wolves FC star who had a rough and tough educational
background while growing up has decided to assist schools across the
country through his non governmental organization christened Etebo
Oghenekaro Peter Foundation.
Confirming the gesture, Coordinator of the project and NFF registered
Intermediary, Mr Endurance Iseri Ogbemudia confirmed that the first
set of beneficiaries are Ikengbuwa Primary School, Cavegina Primary
School, Ojojo Primary School, Agbassa Primary School and Mowoe Primary
School all in Warri, Delta State and further stated that  the
distribution took place between July 9 and 11, 2018
Mr Ogbemudia also let out that the gesture will be extended to
different part of the country as the midfielder believes so much in
building the nation through giving the younger one’s the enabling
environment to study.
“Etebo is such a benevolent individual in his days in Warri Wolves FC
with the little he earned then he was always committed in sending
provisions and cash gifts to selected orphanage centres”.
Etebo, a Rio 2016 Olympic bronze medalist who signed for English
Championship side Stoke City from Portuguese club C.D Fereinse before
representing Nigeria at the ongoing Russia 2018 FIFA World Cup in
Russia struggled as a child through his education.
His parents struggled to afford the basic needs he required as a young
school boy, he has therefore decided to assist as many kids as
possible in their quest to thrive in their studies.
