NPFL PLAYOFFS: ENYIMBA, LOBI RECORD A WIN; KANO PILLARS AND AKWA UNITED SETTLE FOR DRAW

A lone goal from Osadiaye ensured that Enyimba of Aba beat Enugu Rangers in the first game of today’s first round the Nigerian Professional Footballer League, NPFL 2019 playoffs.
The game between KANO Pillars and Akwa United ended in stalemate as both teams settled for a 2-2 draw.
After a first half drama which saw four goals put in the back of both nets, the second half was dry… David Ebuka and Ndifreke Effiong were the goalscorers for Kanopillars while Unimaginable Nwagua and Godspower Aniefiok were on the score sheet for Akwa.
Meanwhile, the last game of the day saw Lobi Stars overpowered Ifeanyi Ubah FC 3-1.
