SUPER EAGLES LINE-UP AGAINST SENEGAL REVEALED

The line up for the Nigeria’s Super Eagles friendly game against the Teranga Lions of Senegal has been revealed.

According to owngoalnigeria, Daniel Akpeyi who is presently the first choice will start in goal for the game with Francis Uzoho no longer in favour while Ikechukwu Ezenwa is only returning from an injury lay off.

In defence, Leon Balogun miss out due to illness and the coach reverted to a back three of William Troost-Ekong, Kenneth Omeruo and Chidozie Awaziem even though John Ogu auditioned in the central defence role during their last training session.

Samuel Kalu gets the nod to play as right wingback ahead of Ola Aina while Jamilu Collins moved up to the role of left wingback for the game with Moses Simon who has been touted as the best option at left wingback dropping to the bench.

The midfield three is the same as exclusively reported by this portal and it consists of team captain John Obi Mikel, Wilfred Ndidi and Alex Iwobi with Samuel Chukwueze and Odion Ighalo in attack.

Chukwueze got the nod to start alongside Ighalo with Ahmed Musa ‎just returning to training after recovering from a bout of malaria, same sickness that made Paul Onuachu to miss out on a spot in the team.
