SADIO MANE HITS BRACE TO SHOOT TERRANGA LIONS INTO THE LAST 16; TANZANIA BEATEN 3-0 BY ALGERIA

From losing a penalty to scoring a brace, Liverpool star man and Senegalese striker, Sadio Mane was the man of the match as Senegal saw off Kenya to qualify for the second round of the African Cup Of Nations, AFCON 2019.
Senegal were forced into a goaless tie in the first stanza of the game, a result that would have ensured Kenya qualify at the expense of the terranga lions.
Mane had squandered a chance to put them ahead in the 29th minute after he missed a penalty, with the Kenya goalkeeper, Patrick Matasi making a brilliant save.
Sarr, however, broke the deadlock for Senegal after Matasi who had a great performance in the entire game, clash with his own player to give an open net opportunity for the goal in the 63rd minute.
The Liverpool talisman made it 2-nil in the 71st minute after he beat the Kenya last man after buried a brilliant finish at the back of the net.
Mane completed his brace as he converted a 78th minute penalty.
The Senegalese finished the preliminary stage with 6 points, behind Algeria who gathered 9 points after beating Emmanuel Amunuike’s Tanzania, the weeping boys of the group, despite the desert warriors making 9 changes to their regular first 11 team.
