Musk’s harassment on Twitter might soon end, at least in part.

It appears that the Elon Musk Twitter controversy is coming to a close. In 2022, Musk took over as CEO of Twitter and changed the platform’s verification process. Users can now choose to pay for verification as a consequence.

Some users have criticized this because they think it contradicts the objectives of the platform. The blue checkmarks on numerous public personalities’ accounts have vanished as a result of the verification system’s update. Numerous them have also expressed their disapproval of Musk’s choice to alter the authentication feature.

This includes musicians like Lil Nas X and Doja Cat, who have expressed their annoyance at having their verification status revoked without cause.

Additionally, Musk recently reacted to a post suggesting that Twitter include a dating option. Steven Mark Ryan, a video creator for the YouTube channel Solving The Money Problem, sent the tweet.

Musk quickly responded, describing the concept as “interesting” and joking that it might even lead to job opportunities. The feature’s potential was underscored by Ryan’s tweet, which claimed that it “might actually save humanity from extinction.” Additionally, the YouTuber described the concept as “very low hanging fruit” and asserted that “Twinder would be HUGE.” It remains to be known if the whole affair is a joke.

Elon Musk’s most recent tweet will be quite pleasant to those who have been disgruntled with the way he has handled the acquisition of Twitter. The multibillionaire has disclosed that he has chosen a new CEO for Twitter to succeed him.

Five months after Musk said he would stand down as CEO of the company, the news was made earlier today. Musk said the new CEO, who has not yet been named, will begin in her new job next month. In the meanwhile, he will assume the roles of executive chair and chief technology officer.

Musk tweeted, “Excited to announce that I’ve hired a new CEO for X/Twitter,” expressing his pleasure over the hire. She will begin in about 6 weeks! My role will transition to being exec chair & CTO, overseeing product, software & sysops.” What do you think of the latest update in the Elon Musk saga? Do you think the platform will change for the better when he is no longer CEO? Let us know in the comments!
