The versatile midfielder linked up with Fulham from Everton last summer.
Iwobi has racked up 25 appearances for the Whites this season with five goals to his name.
It would be recalled that he also surpassed the most minutes played by a Nigerian in Premier League history after featuring against Newcastle United the previous weekend.
The record was previously held by former Chelsea midfielder, John Mikel Obi.
