RECONSTRUCTION WORK: LAGOS GOVT DIVERTS TRAFFIC AT ADENIJI ON LAGOS ISLAND
The Lagos State Government has announced that traffic will be diverted at Adeniji Junction in Lagos Island for the ongoing reconstruction work by the Federal Ministry of Works.
A statement signed by the State Commissioner for Transportation, Mr. Oluwaseun Osiyemi said from 11 pm on Wednesday, 28th to 4 am on Thursday, 29th August, 2024, all vehicles coming from the Third Mainland Bridge heading to the Island will be diverted from Adeniji Junction to the Adeniji Ramp to connect their desired destinations.
Osiyemi averred that, alternatively, Motorists can also use Ikorodu Road to continue their journeys, appealing to road users for the inconveniences the diversion may cause.
