Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada, the incumbent Mayoress of Ikosi-Isheri LCDA and candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has delivered a resounding victory at her polling unit in the ongoing Lagos local government elections.

The results from Polling Unit 008, Ifelodun Street, Ward G, Ajegunle, show an overwhelming preference for the APC across both chairmanship and councillorship contests.

For the chairmanship race, APC secured 426 votes, while the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) managed only 1 vote, with 2 votes declared void.

In the councillorship election, APC also dominated with 416 votes, while PDP and the African Democratic Congress (ADC) each garnered 2 votes.

The landslide result further cements Princess Bada’s strong grassroots support as she vies for a second term in office.

The margin of victory at her polling unit signals a strong showing for the ruling party in Ikosi-Isheri LCDA.

Earlier this morning, Hotjist reported that the Mayoress cast her vote at Ifelodun Street, Ward G, Ajegunle, in the ongoing Lagos Local Government elections.

The polling unit was calm and orderly, with election materials and Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC) officials arriving on time.

Speaking after casting her ballot, Princess Bada commended the peaceful conduct of the poll and expressed confidence in securing victory for a second term.

The local government poll, conducted by the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC), is part of a state-wide exercise to elect chairpersons and councillors across 20 LGAs and 37 LCDAs in Lagos.
