Social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, widely known as VeryDarkMan, has offered fresh insight into the long-standing feud between singer Cynthia Morgan and her former label boss, Jude Okoye.

VeryDarkMan revealed that he recently met Jude Okoye at an event, where they discussed the ongoing controversy regarding Cynthia Morgan’s royalties and music catalogue.

During their conversation, Jude Okoye allegedly presented a 2016 video showing Cynthia Morgan introducing her new stage name, “Madrina” a move that, according to VeryDarkMan, contradicts her claims that Jude prevented her from using the name.

VeryDarkMan also stated that Jude Okoye presented financial records indicating that Cynthia Morgan’s royalties had totaled just $3,860 since her breakout year.

He recounted their discussion, during which Jude claimed that the contract between him and Cynthia Morgan was originally drafted by the singer and her manager — and that he only signed it.

After reviewing the documents, VeryDarkMan admitted he felt misled and “foolish” for previously confronting Jude over the matter. He added that Cynthia Morgan owes Jude Okoye a public apology for tarnishing his reputation online.
