Spending, a close associate of the late singer Mohbad, has publicly denied circulating social media rumours suggesting he is the biological father of Mohbad’s son, Liam.
The speculation intensified following an online post that pointed out a strong physical resemblance between Spending and Liam, fueling widespread debate and raising questions about the child’s paternity.
In a statement posted to his Instagram story, Spending firmly rejected the allegations and urged people to stop spreading unfounded claims.
He said he has no relationship with Liam’s mother and expressed frustration over the circulation of false claims. Spending called on bloggers to stop promoting misleading narratives.
In his words: “I’ve come across several bloggers suggesting I’m Liam’s father. This isn’t something to joke about. For the record, I am not his father and I have never been involved with his mother in any romantic way. Please stop spreading these false stories.”
To further clear his name, Spending stated he is open to taking a DNA test if needed, showing his readiness to back his denial with evidence.
“I’m willing to take a DNA test if necessary,” he said.
