LAGOS POLICE DEPLOY ANTI-CULTISM SQUADS STATEWIDE, RELEASE EMERGENCY NUMBERS

In a renewed crackdown on cultism, the Lagos State Police Command has announced the deployment of specialized Anti-Cultism Squads to all Area Commands across the state.
According to a statement released by the Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, on behalf of the Commissioner of Police, CP Olohundare Jimoh, the move is part of a comprehensive strategy to combat the rising menace of cult-related activities in Lagos.
The squads, now operational, are fully equipped to carry out surveillance, respond to distress calls, arrest cult suspects, and work closely with communities to dismantle cult networks.
The initiative also includes the release of emergency contact numbers to ensure swift communication between the public and law enforcement:

CP Jimoh urged residents to actively support the police by promptly providing credible information about cult activities, assuring that all tips would be treated with utmost confidentiality.
The command reaffirmed its commitment to making Lagos safer and maintaining law and order across all communities.
