CDCFIB CLOSES RECRUITMENT PORTAL AS OVER 1.9M NIGERIANS JOSTLE FOR JOBS IN IMMIGRATION, OTHERS

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced the closure of its official recruitment portal.
In a statement on Monday, the board expressed appreciation to all applicants for their interest and commitment to serving the nation with honour, integrity, and pride.
“The official recruitment portal for the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board is now closed.
“We thank all applicants for their interest and commitment to serving with honour, integrity and national pride.”
It disclosed that the shortlisting process will commence shortly, and successful candidates will be contacted with further instructions.
Applicants have been advised to monitor their email and text messages in the coming weeks for notifications and to regularly check the recruitment portal and CDCFIB’s official social media platforms for important updates.

According to CDCFIB data, the recruitment exercise attracted a total of 1,910,835 applications nationwide.
Kofi state topped the list with 116,140 applicants, followed closely by Kaduna (114,518) and Benue (110,544).
Lagos State recorded the fewest entries with 14,215 applications, just above Bayelsa, which had 11,669.
Other states with high interest include Kano (89,368), Niger (79,515), Katsina (76,825), and Kwara (78,425), reflecting strong competition for positions across the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire, and Immigration services.
