Police Commissioner, CP Olohundare Jimoh, personally led a team of officers, including mobile and tactical squads, to restore calm and prevent further unrest.

The suspect is currently in custody at the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Panti-Yaba, as investigations continue. The police assured that justice will be pursued diligently and warned residents against taking the law into their own hands.

CP Jimoh urged Lagosians to remain calm and law-abiding while pledging that the suspect will be charged to court once investigations are concluded.
