The residents of Kebbe Local Government Area in Sokoto State have entered a period of mourning following the passing of their Council Chairman, Hon. Abdullahi Yarima Kebbe.
Hon. Yarima succumbed to his illness on Friday at the Usmanu Danfodiyo University Teaching Hospital in Sokoto, after a prolonged battle with health issues. His demise signifies the conclusion of a political journey characterized by grassroots leadership and community engagement.
Family representatives have verified that the deceased chairman is survived by his spouse, offspring, and numerous grandchildren. He was characterized as a devoted public servant who committed his life to the advancement of Kebbe and the welfare of its inhabitants.

Funeral rites are planned for today, to be conducted immediately after the Jumu’at congregational prayers at his home in Bado, in observance of Islamic customs.
