MAN UTD DEFENDER LISANDRO MARTÍNEZ TO MISS EVERTON CLASH WITH CALF INJURY
Agency Report

Manchester United will be without defender Lisandro Martínez for Monday’s Premier League fixture against Everton due to calf discomfort.
Medical examinations have confirmed the issue is minor, with no serious damage detected, and Martínez is expected to return to training later this week.
As reported by journalist Fabrizio Romano on X, “Lisandro Martínez will miss tonight’s game vs Everton with calf discomfort. Medical tests show a minor issue, and he’s expected back in training this week. United have 7 wins in 18 games without him, 5 in 9 when he started.”
The 28-year-old Argentine’s absence is a setback for United, who have recorded seven victories in 18 matches without him, compared to five wins in nine games when he started.
Although the injury is not considered long-term, the club has decided to rest Martínez as a precaution while managing his recovery ahead of upcoming fixtures.
