OSHIOMHOLE PRAISES WIKE FOR OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE IN FCT ELECTION

Senator Adams Oshiomhole has commended the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, for his outstanding leadership, saying he “did wonders in the FCT local government elections.”
Oshiomhole made the remarks during the handover of 54 construction equipment units to the 18 local government areas in Edo State.
Commenting on Wike’s performance in the recent FCT local government elections, he said: “If anyone had doubts, he proved himself yesterday when his party came second after the APC. Securing second place after APC is no small feat, especially in areas where some candidates scored less than 100 votes.”
He further praised Wike as “the first person from our South-South geopolitical zone to serve as FCT Minister, leading in a manner that has refined and redefined the concept of development.”
Oshiomhole also acknowledged regional leaders, adding: “I want to congratulate you all, and I thank our governor for maintaining a strong working relationship with the Honourable Minister of FCT.”
