He further stressed that his administration remains committed to ongoing projects and will not allow personal political ambitions to hinder progress.
Alia also called on residents and stakeholders to support his vision for the growth and transformation of Benue State. “I invite all people of good conscience to join hands with me so that we can make Benue a place that attracts everybody,” he said.
Highlighting the achievements of his tenure so far, the governor cited infrastructure development and improved welfare for civil servants.
“When you see earthmoving machines working on our previously dilapidated roads, that is development. When you see civil servants going to work and returning home satisfied, that is development.
“I have started, I am midway, and I am more determined to do more because that was my covenant with the people of Benue. I cannot apologize to anyone because I am focused on developing the state.
“My covenant is with the people of Benue State. My focus is on improving their lives and rewriting the state’s story for the better. Nothing can deter me; nobody can frustrate me from this mission,” he said.
He reaffirmed that his administration will continue prioritizing policies and actions that enhance the welfare and well-being of the people.
