According to a statement by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Kayode Akinmade, the governor extended congratulations to the President, his family, associates, and Nigerians, adding that he feels “immensely blessed and privileged” to serve under Tinubu’s leadership.
He praised the President’s vast experience in business and politics, noting that his passion, vision, and dedication to service are evident in the policies and direction of his administration.
The governor further underscored Tinubu’s legacy as a pro-democracy advocate, describing him as a pivotal figure in the struggle for the restoration of democratic governance in Nigeria.
“President Tinubu continues to lead efforts to strengthen and sustain democracy in our country,” Abiodun stated, adding that his leadership inspires confidence among Nigerians.
He also commended the administration’s economic reforms, particularly the removal of fuel subsidies and the correction of foreign exchange distortions, describing them as “difficult but necessary measures” to reposition Nigeria’s economy.
According to him, these reforms have led to greater stability in petrol prices, a more predictable foreign exchange system, and an improvement in the nation’s reserves.
Abiodun noted that Nigeria is increasingly attracting investors as a result of the President’s business-friendly policies, with Ogun State already benefiting from the positive impact.
The governor also prayed for the President’s continued good health and wisdom, expressing confidence that the Renewed Hope Agenda will deliver sustained prosperity and development for the nation.
“As he marks his 74th birthday, we thank God for his life and pray for continued success in building a Nigeria that all citizens can take pride in,” Abiodun said.
In a separate statement issued by his Media Adviser, Chief Kayode Odunaro, Adeola described Tinubu as his “father, mentor, leader and benefactor.”
He added that “President Tinubu is an exceptional leader whose life has been shaped by courage, vision, remarkable wisdom, and an unwavering commitment to Nigeria’s progress.”
Adeola further stated that the President’s leadership has played a defining role in shaping Nigeria’s political and economic landscape, mentoring and influencing many who see themselves as beneficiaries of his enduring legacy.
“You remain a pillar of progressive politics and an inspiration to generations. In Nigeria’s history, your contributions stand out as milestones of positive and transformative development,” he said.
The lawmaker also prayed for the President’s continued strength, good health, and divine wisdom to steer the nation toward greater heights and lasting economic prosperity under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
