BREAKING: DEPUTY SPOKESPERSON OF REPS, PHILIP AGBESE, DUMPS APC FOR LABOUR PARTY

Philip Agbese, the Member representing Ado/Okpokwu/Ogbadibo Federal Constituency in Benue State, has resigned from the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Agbese, who serves as the Deputy Spokesperson of the House of Representatives, announced on Tuesday that he has joined the Labour Party.
In a statement shared on his official Facebook page, he explained that he is “answering a higher call to serve my people with sincerity, humility, and commitment” through his new party.
The lawmaker said he has been “warmly received by my esteemed colleagues in the House of Representatives who are members of the party from across the country into the LP, where Papa, Mama and Pikin dey house.
“Guided by the exemplary leadership mantra of our distinguished National Chairman, Her Excellency, Senator Nenadi Usman, I feel honoured to be a member of such a modest assembly of patriots”.
The lawmaker acknowledged, “As the highest-ranking political office holder of the party in Benue State, I fully understand the responsibility of strengthening and revitalising the party for success across all levels.
“Consequently, our membership will be guided by inclusiveness, mutual respect, and the recognition that every member whether long-standing or new plays a crucial role in building a stronger, more united party.”
