FOUR CHILDREN KILLED IN KAMPALA KINDERGARTEN ATTACK
Agency Report

Four children have been stabbed to death at a kindergarten in Kampala, in a shocking incident that has left residents in mourning.
Police confirmed that the attack occurred at the Ggaba Early Childhood Development Programme school in the Makindye Division of the city. According to authorities, the suspect, a male, gained access to the premises by posing as a parent before carrying out the deadly assault on the children, reportedly aged between two and three.
The police spokesperson, Racheal Kawala, described the incident as tragic, stating that the suspect “brutally stabbed and killed four juveniles.”
Angry residents reportedly attempted to lynch the suspect as he tried to flee, but security operatives intervened and took him into custody.
Videos circulating on social media showed distressed parents gathered outside the school, which has since been cordoned off, desperately seeking information about their children.
Authorities said the motive behind the attack remains unclear, adding that investigations are ongoing.
Such incidents are considered rare in Uganda, heightening concerns over safety in early childhood institutions.
