PDP Reshuffles Officials
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has moved its National Legal Adviser, Dave Iorhemba, to the office of the National Deputy Secretary.
This is coming barely two months to the PDP national convention and expiration of the Senator Ahmed Makarfi-led national caretaker committee’s tenure on December 16.
In a statement yesterday by the party’s spokesman, Prince Dayo Adeyeye, Makarfi also appointed a former National Legal Adviser of the party, Victor Kwon, as his personal adviser on legal affairs.
The party explained that the decision to re-assign Iorhemba to the office of deputy national secretary was because the caretaker committee was no longer pressured by legal matters since after the apex court judgement of July 12.
“This clarification became necessary to correct misconceptions and contradictory narratives in some sections of the media,” the party said
