News had made the round earlier in that day that Salah has agreed a three-year deal at €100 million annual salary making him the second highest paid footballer in the world after Cristiano Ronaldo.
The report said the Egyptian wants to leave Liverpool and has informed the board to negotiate a transfer fee with Al-Ittihad.
The 31-year-old penned a new three-year deal with the Reds last summer, which made him the highest-paid player in the club’s history, earning around £350,000 per week.
