POLICE RESCUES 14 KIDNAP VICTIMS, KILLS KIDNAPPERS IN FCT
Police officers from the FCT Command, who are linked to the Rubochi Division Police Headquarters and the Anti-Kidnapping Unit, successfully and bravely freed 14 abducted victims on Wednesday from Ukya village, which is close to the border with Nasarawa state.
Based on reliable information, the joint police squad moved quickly to raid a kidnapper’s hideout in Ukya village. The crooks started shooting at the police officers as soon as they arrived, sparking a heated gunfight.
One of the kidnappers was eliminated during the gunfight, and the other criminals, who were all wounded to varying degrees, fled into the neighboring woodland.
Thankfully, the captives were freed without incident, and they have since happily reconnected with their families.

He praised the police officers participating in the operation for their quick thinking and bravery.
