WAPA COMMISSIONER URGES PEACEFUL CO-EXISTENCE IN LAGOS
As the Holy Month of Ramadan draws to a close the Honourable Commissioner for Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation (WAPA) Hon. Bolaji Cecilia Dada has called for peaceful co-existence among residents, just as she wished all Muslim faithfuls in Lagos a peaceful and joyful Eid-El-Fitri celebrations.
Speaking today in her office at the Secretariat, Alausa, she said women should reflect on Ramadan’s lessons of compassion, unity, mutual respect and reflect on the teachings of the holy prophet.
The Commissioner also enjoined women in Lagos State to remember the most vulnerable and poor during the EID celebrations, praying that the holy season will engender peace and harmony across the State and Country.
