BANKY W LEAVES NIGERIA TO STUDY ABROAD
The Banky W family moves overseas to pursue higher education.
Bankole Wellington, often known as Banky W, is a Nigerian singer, actor, and politician who moved to Washington, DC, with his family in order to pursue an international degree.
The star said on Tuesday that he and his wife, actress Adesua Etomi-Wellington, had relocated to another country while he enrolled at Georgetown University to pursue a Master’s degree in Policy Management.
The musician posted pictures of his tearful farewell to his family at the airport and his reunion with fellow Nigerian singer Eldee The Don on Instagram.
He wrote, “For family. For faith. For finding purpose.
“For the next year of earning a Masters degree in Policy Management at Georgetown University in Washington DC. Wish us well. “
His wife, Adesua Etomi-wellington, wrote: “Home is wherever you are. ❤️❤️❤️”
