Controversial Nigerian singer Portable is celebrating his latest achievement.
On his Instagram page, Portable shared a screenshot of his Instagram professional dashboard, showing that he had garnered over 59 million views in the past 30 days.
Boasting about his success, Portable pointed out that people don’t celebrate failure and encouraged brands to DM him for bookings and ambassadorship opportunities.
“Akoi 50 million Views Them no dey celebrate failure. ZEHNATION DM for shows bookings ambassadorship”.
Portable rose to fame after releasing his hit song “Zazu Zeh” in December 2021, which featured rapper, singer, and songwriter Olamide, as well as dancer Iwe Pascal, also known as Poco Lee.
Despite his controversial actions and antics, Portable continues to thrive. In April, he stunned the internet by revealing he owns 20 cars, including a Range Rover and a G-Wagon. He also shared that he has 10 mansions and is building a hotel in Ogun State. He emphasized that while he may live in the trenches, his lifestyle is far from it and he does not live a fake life.
In 2023, Portable was recognized in the United States as the best new act of the year. Expressing gratitude to the award organizers, he stated that the recognition was evidence he was on the right path.
In February of the previous year, Portable was overwhelmed when American rapper Rick Ross gave him a shout-out on social media, recognizing the contributions of African artists, which left Portable thrilled.
In June, Portable met with rapper Phyno, and a photo of their warm embrace circulated online.
He also had a notable encounter with Tiwa Savage, calling her his “mother,” the “Ogbanje of Africa,” and crowning her as Africa’s number one. Portable further dismissed his critics, asserting that he and Tiwa are the current reigning stars.
