On Monday, the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) officially announced the release of the results for this year’s West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for school candidates.

The examination body made the announcement in a post via their X account on Monday.

However, Hotjist reports the step-by-step ways in which candidates can now check their results online:

To access their results, candidates must visit WAEC’s official result portal at [http://waecdirect.org](http://waecdirect.org) and carefully follow the provided instructions.

Below is a step-by-step guide for checking the 2025 WASSCE results online:

1. Enter your 10-digit WAEC Examination Number (this consists of your 7-digit centre number followed by your 3-digit candidate number — for example, 4123456789).

For examination years before 1999, enter your 8-digit WAEC Examination Number (This is your 5-digit centre number followed by your 3-digit candidate number; for example, 19865001).

Enter the 4 digits of your Examination Year; for example, 2002.

Select the Type of Examination.

Input the e-PIN Voucher Number.

Then, enter the Personal Identification Number (PIN) found on your e-PIN.

Click on “Submit” and wait for your results to be displayed on the screen.
