After more than a decade in which Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo ruled the scoring charts across Europe’s elite leagues, the landscape has shifted. With that era now behind us, the 2025–26 season has seen a new generation of forwards — alongside a few surprise names — take centre stage.
Leading the way is Harry Kane. The Bayern Munich striker has surged ahead with 28 league goals, bolstered by three Bundesliga hat-tricks. Ruthless in front of goal and remarkably consistent, Kane has found the net in almost every outing and appears firmly on course to defend his European crown.
