The founder of Vine Crest College, Iperu-Remo, Ogun State, Oluwatoyin Phillips, has highlighted the importance of a curriculum that integrates academic excellence with character development. She noted that such an approach equips Nigerian students for opportunities both at home and abroad.

Phillips made the remarks during a breakfast tableside discussion with parents and education stakeholders in Lagos. Drawing on her experience in education and school administration, she stressed that students need a curriculum that fosters leadership, etiquette, music, and financial literacy, ensuring they are well-rounded and globally competitive.

Speaking at the event, the school’s principal, Olusegun Olisa, reiterated the institution’s dedication to the holistic formation of its students. The session also offered parents a chance to engage with the school leadership and gain deeper insights into its educational philosophy.
