Chelsea Football Club is set to visit Lagos, Nigeria, for the first time this May as part of its global fan engagement programme, according to The Media reports.

The English club announced on its website on Thursday that former player and ex-Super Eagles forward Victor Moses will lead activities during the visit.

The Lagos event marks the penultimate stop of The Famous CFC 2025/26 season, an initiative designed to strengthen the club’s connection with supporters worldwide.

“The Famous CFC in Lagos will deliver a packed weekend of action, featuring fan-favourite watch parties and exclusive activities, including a Q&A session with Victor Moses,” the club said.

“There will also be opportunities for fans to win signed merchandise,” the statement said.

Chelsea added that Lagos will be the fifth stop on this season’s programme, which has been expanded to include additional host cities.

“The Nigeria visit marks the fifth stop this season for Chelsea’s international fan programme, aimed at strengthening connections with Blues supporters worldwide,” the club said.

Victor Moses, who had a successful stint at Chelsea, was part of the squad that won the 2016/17 Premier League title.

The former winger also represented Nigeria internationally, making his Super Eagles debut in 2012 and playing a key role in the nation’s 2013 Africa Cup of Nations victory.

He featured in both the 2014 and 2018 FIFA World Cup tournaments before retiring from international football in 2018.

Chelsea encouraged fans interested in attending the Lagos event to register, noting that participation would be determined by a ballot and that registration does not guarantee entry.

The club said the initiative aims to bring supporters together as the 2025/26 season approaches its conclusion.
