Nasarawa State police have successfully rescued a three-day-old baby abducted in Mararaba, following a swift operation that resulted in the arrest of two suspects.

The incident reportedly took place on March 28, 2026, when 19-year-old mother Aisha Bada reported that her newborn had been taken from her home in Unguwan Bawa, Orange Market. Her husband, Abubakar Isah, a commercial tricycle operator, had been away on business in Lagos for several months.

Police said that two unidentified men broke into the house, threatened the mother, and kidnapped the infant. The family immediately alerted the authorities, triggering a full-scale investigation.
