EFCC DECLARES EBONYI INDIGENE WANTED OVER ALLEGED FRAUD

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has declared one John Kelechi Ekuma wanted over an alleged case of obtaining money by false pretence.
Ekuma, 43, an indigene of Ikwo Local Government Area, was listed in a public notice issued by the anti-graft agency as part of ongoing efforts to track suspected fraudsters.
The Commission said his last known address is 13/14 Ligali Ayomide Street, Victoria Island.
In the notice signed by the EFCC’s Head of Media and Publicity, Dele Oyewale, the agency appealed to members of the public to assist with information that could lead to his arrest.
“The public is hereby notified that John Kelechi Ekuma… is wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission in an alleged case of obtaining money by false pretence,” the statement read.
The EFCC urged anyone with useful information on his whereabouts to contact its offices nationwide or report to the nearest police station and other security agencies.
The Commission reiterated its commitment to tackling financial crimes and called on the public to support its efforts by providing credible information to aid ongoing investigations.
