Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has called on his players to remain grounded despite their 2-1 Premier League win over Arsenal on Sunday.

Speaking after the match at the Etihad Stadium, where Erling Haaland’s second-half strike secured victory, Guardiola said the team must enjoy the result but quickly shift focus to their next fixture.

He stressed that attention must now turn to Wednesday’s Premier League clash against Burnley.

“We have to enjoy it, celebrate it, take the good things, but don’t lose focus,” Guardiola said. “The focus is in three days, we go to Burnley.”

The win moves Manchester City to within three points of Arsenal at the top of the table, with a game in hand still to play.
