Paris Saint-Germain forward Ousmane Dembélé says he remains calm amid growing talk about the 2026 Ballon d’Or race.

Dembélé, who won the previous edition after helping PSG secure the UEFA Champions League alongside domestic and international honours, is widely considered one of the leading contenders for back-to-back awards.

Speaking to beIN Sports, the former Barcelona winger said individual awards are not his main focus.

He noted that team success remains the priority, stressing PSG’s achievements, including the Ligue 1 title, the Super Cup, and the Intercontinental Cup.

“The most important thing is the team titles. We won Ligue 1, the Super Cup, and the Intercontinental Cup. On May 30th, we have something great for all PSG fans,” he said.

When asked about his chances of retaining the Ballon d’Or, Dembélé replied: “Very calm, as I said. Individual trophies come later—if they come, fine. If they don’t, that’s how it is.”
