Ndidi, Iheanacho To Rejoin Leicester Friday After Eagles – Libya Clashes
Ndidi and Iheanacho were part of Super Eagles’ squad that executed the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying double-header against the Mediterranean Knights of Libya.
Talented midfielder, Ndidi played in both legs of the qualifier against Libya in Uyo and Sfax – on Saturday and Tuesday respectively.
The former KRC Genk midfielder picked up a yellow card in the closing stages of the second leg fixture in Sfax which effectively ruled him out of Super Eagles’ next 2019 AFCON qualifier against the Bafana Bafana of South Africa on November 17.
Iheanacho was was an unused substitute in the two matches.
Leicester City will face Arsenal in an English Premier League fixture at the Emirates Stadium London on Monday.
The Foxes will look to put an end to Arsenal’s six-game winning streak in the encounter.
