# Edo Decides: Edo Governorship Election Holds Today
The Edo state governorship election, which was earlier slated for September 10th, was rescheduled to today September 28th following security threats. The main contenders are APC’s Godwin Obaseki and PDP’s Osagie Ize-Iyamu.
