SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the Police Public Relations Officer in Lagos state, has confirmed the arrest of a motorist, Billy King Tokunbo, who was arrested on Friday for assaulting an armed police officer.
“The suspect, Billy King Tokunbo, who drove against traffic, was immediately arrested,” Hundeyin wrote on Twitter.
“Immediately, his Toyota Corolla car, registration number LSR 430 FT, was impounded.” He is scheduled to appear in court for his traffic violation and assault on a police officer
