Sergio Aguero and Leroy Sane scored as Manchester City stunned Liverpool 2-1 to cut the gap to four points between them.
Manchester City took the lead in the first stanza of the match, when Bernardo Silva broke down the left-hand side of the box before cutting the ball back to Aguero, who got the better of Lovren before blasting a sublime strike straight into the roof of the net. It’s 1-0 to the reigning champions.
In the 64th minute, a wonderful looping pass from Alexander-Arnold sailed into the penalty area and picked out Robertson on the byline.
The full-back immediately knocked the ball across the face of goal, where Firmino easily headed it into an empty net to make it 1-1.
Man city however took the lead in the 72nd minute of the game as a space opened up for Sterling, who immediately dashed towards the Liverpool penalty area.
He then picked out Sane, who smashed a brilliant strike past Alisson and into the bottom right-hand corner of the net.
This put Man City within 4 points behind Liverpool.
