An argument ensued among senators-elect on the process to adopt in voting during the ongoing inauguration of the 9th Assembly in Abuja.
Some of the senators were pushing for a secret ballot, while others want the option of an open ballot.
“There’s an order from the court that it should be an open ballot,” said a senator-elect but the clerk said he did not receive any court order on that.
The inauguration has however resumed with the roll call of of all the senators-elect.
